Management Standards Policy Letter

Per OPNAVINST 1700.9E Commander Navy Installations Command (CNIC) Navy Child and Youth Programs shall develop standards and provide criteria for the operation of Navy CYP, including setting authorized staffing and program expense levels. To ensure consistent, effective, and efficient cost per space management Navy-wide, CYP Management Standards have been in place since 2008.CYP Management standards are developed and updated based on benchmarking and best practices related to staffign and all non-labor expenses between all Navy installations, other military services, private sector child and youth organizations, and national accreditation standards.
