Positive Youth-Adult Partnerships Virtual Training

Programs: School Age Care, Youth Program
Resource Type: Training
Published: 03/19

On February 20, 2019, Brent Edwards and Jenny Jordan provided a virtual training on Positive Youth-Adult Partnerships. Positive youth-adult partnerships is the intentional commitment to engage youth as partners in our planning, implementing, and evaluating of programs. This virtual training will focus on the process of moving from planning for youth to planning with youth. Attendees will discover strategies and tools to strengthen programs and enhance learning for our youth. Each virtual training featured presentations with audience interaction and a live Q&A. After reviewing the virtual training, each participant is asked to complete a reflection guide to facilitate deeper thinking and action planning. After completing the reflection guide, CYP professionals should connect with their T&C Specialist to update their individual development plan (IDP) via CYMS.
