Navy CYP Professionals are required to complete a Navy CYP approved training program. Reference (e), the Navy Child and Youth Individual Development Plan and Training Requirements Updates, and Reference (f), the Navy Child and Youth Individual Development Plan and Training Requirements (IDPs), outline the updated training requirements, timelines, and CYMS training codes. **June 2023: 1) replace the Gold Star customer service training requirement with any customer service training, many are available on CNIC University, 2) provide stronger recommendations on the Direct Care Staff Orientation timeline, specifically for 30 and 60 days, and 3) and added the DoD required Problematic Sexual Behavior Non-Clinical Referral Tool Training requirement for management and training positions. **4.8.2021: Individual Development Plan and Training Requirements Policy Letter Update uploaded.
