Programs must develop and implement an emergency response medication portability procedure for each child requiring emergency response medication for a life-threatening condition. The IAT must review the childΓÇÖs portability procedure, and the Director must approve it. Programs have the discretion to determine the most effective procedure to meet this requirement. This template is provided as a resource for programs to use when developing a childΓÇÖs portability procedure.
