  • BGCA Annual Report - Updated Guidance

On January 11, 2022, Navy CYPs will receive the 2021 Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) Annual Report. The completion of the BGCA Annual Report is a membership requirement of all Navy CYPs affiliated with BGCA. Below is updated guidance in regards to the completion of the 2021 BGCA Annual Report:

    1. When asked the question "Is the Board Chair position vacant (as of today's date)?" Please answer this question with a "no." Brent Edwards, CNIC CYP Youth Programs Coordinator, serves as the Board Chair for all Navy CYPs affiliated with BGCA. Answering the previous question with a "no" will skip the remaining Board Chair questions.
    2. Because our CYP professionals have not consented to the release of their personal information to BGCA, please do not disclose the gender or racial identity information of CYP professionals to BGCA. Please total your staff under the "Don't know" category.
    3. Because our parents have not consented to the release of their children's personal information to BGCA, please do not disclose the gender or racial identity information of children to BGCA. Please total your children under the "gender is unknown" or "don't know" categories.
Please note that the 2021 BGCA Annual Report must be completed by February 15, 2022. If you have any questions in regards to the completion of the BGCA Annual Report, please click on the Contact Us link above.
